Estimator – Construction Services
We are seeking an experienced construction estimator to lead our construction estimating efforts. Responsibilities include comprehensive RFP and scope of work review, costing and program modeling for local, regional, and national opportunities.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Support Account Teams, Executive Teams and Departments on various daily tasks to ensure client satisfaction
- Interact with project managers and vendor partners to opportunity timelines and costing approaches
- General knowledge of restoration and construction materials and methods and assembly of construction/contract documents
- Be knowledgeable of current company products, services, and offerings
Estimating Responsibilities:
- Projects and controls restoration and construction costs by collecting and managing information and opportunities
- Understand project specifications and ensures they are met and maintains customers complete satisfaction
- Prepares construction budget by developing plans; updating specifications; identifying and projecting costs using Xactimate and or estimating tools, platforms
- Maintain, pursue, and complete required permits and jobsite requirements per local jurisdiction ordinances
- Evaluates offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements
- Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price
- Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating information
- Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards
- Using purchase orders, orders materials, equipment and supplies as needed within purchasing limits
- Ensures timely submission of properly coded receipts and invoices
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite & Excel skills including formula and pivot tables

Vendor Engagement Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, communicate and negotiate with external vendors partners
- Oversee vendor partner performances and ensure timelines, compliances, and quality assurances
- Provide support and communications with field validation and workflow applications
Essential Position Requirements:
- Ability to work additional and/or nonstandard office hours, as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or related professional business experience with an interest in construction, commercial property management and start-ups
