SUMMARY: The Production Worker performs all tasks involved in the production of Corsicana Bedding products as assigned by the Plant Manager and/or Production Supervisor. The Production Workers follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible in order to support the production goals and corporate values of Corsicana Bedding.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

Reads Work Orders and performs work as assigned by Production Supervisor.

Sews, cuts, clips, hooks, staples or otherwise assembles the materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished product from raw materials.

Attaches appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
- Packs finished goods into correct packages and/or boxes. Places finished goods on designated pallets as needed.

Tracks production and completion of Work Orders on schedule board or in computer system.

Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.

Maintains a clean and safe work area.

Participates in cross training opportunities in order to maximize effectiveness.

High School diploma or equivalent-
Two years’ experience preferred

Ability to responsibly use work related equipment and materials.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee will generally be housed in a climate controlled, well-lit environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
