The selected candidate will develop, revise, and deliver lecture and laboratory courses in Mechanical Engineering Technology at both the associate and baccalaureate levels to day and evening students. Additional duties include updating and maintaining laboratories and equipment, maintaining technical currency, student recruitment, actively participating in University, college, department/program committee work, and other duties as assigned.
- A Bachelor of Science in either Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- A Master of Science in Engineering OR a closely related Master's degree
- Three years of relevant and verifiable industrial experience
- Relevant teaching experience
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Applicants must have a passion for the profession and the ability to teach courses in a wide variety of mechanical engineering technology areas
- Professional Engineering License
- Ability to teach courses across engineering technology programs
