Compensation is competitive. $50,000 annually

Master’s Degree or enrollment in a Master’s Program that has a path for licensure.
We specialize in forensic counseling, all clients are re-entering the community and are on probation or parole.
Experience with sex offenders, substance abuse and/or forensic treatment is considered a plus. Individual and group counseling experience is also a plus
We are in need of full-time Master’s level Counselors or individuals enrolled in a Master’s Program with a path for licensure. The Counselor will be responsible for all therapeutic services and documentation for clients on his/her caseload. The Counselor serves as a member of a treatment team and utilizes a curriculum based therapeutic program. We provide services to clients who have been referred by the Courts, Probation or Parole. We utilize specialized evaluations and tailor therapeutic interventions that not only address the client’s individual needs but, also those of the referring agencies.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- MSW, MFT, or PsyD
- Bachelor’s’ Degree and enrollment in a Master’s program that has a path for licensure
- Successful candidates will be required to fingerprint/background check
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
- Experience with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), or Relapse Prevention Models
- Certification by CASOMB preferred. * Successful applicants will receive instructions on how to acquire certification if necessary
- Membership in CCOSO preferred. * Successful applicants will receive instructions on how to acquire membership if necessary
- Knowledge and competence with the DSM V
ESSENTIAL DUTIES for Counselor Position:
- Facilitate group therapy sessions
- Monthly individual sessions for clients on the caseload
- Prepare weekly/monthly clinical notes including, treatment plans update when necessary.
- Make assessments of participants when indicated
- Integrate DSM diagnoses
- Develop individualized care plan (ICP) and monitor the administration of these plans
- Perform follow up annual reassessments
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to ensure client outcomes; and the completion reports upon request
