Would you like the opportunity to be our next Resident Engineer? As a Resident Engineer at Robinson, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and monitor all field construction activities to deliver exceptional engineering services to our clients. Your New Opportunity
- Managing multiple municipal engineering construction projects and/or a single, large-scale project
- Reviewing design and bidding documents
- Engineering observation of construction progress to ensure compliance with plans/specifications
- Approving change orders, invoices and payment applications
- Communicating and coordinating with design engineers and municipal officials
Your Background and Credentials
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field preferred
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in construction engineering and inspection experience including roadway and/or underground construction is required
- An active PE or EIT license in the state of Illinois or Indiana is preferred
- INDOT certifications preferred
- Experience with Microsoft products, specifically Word and Excel, is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship building skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
