Our
Integrated Circuit (IC) design team develops
Power Management products for
Hyperscale server farms, high-end computing, telecom and datacom, automotive , and
emerging AI platforms . We also develop products for the rapidly expanding
Audio IC applications space. We have design centers on both the east coast (Andover, MA & Warwick, RI) and west coast (El Segundo, CA), and we continue to grow this team to meet increasing market opportunities. If you are a

Infineon Americas Design Team
In your new role you will:
- Develop wafer probe and final test production and product characterization test solutions for Infineon’s leading edge digital power management new products
- Document test requirements, create test plans and develop test methods
- Work with design and concept development engineers to incorporate design for test (DFT) features into new products to ensure quality at low cost of test
- Design and develop test hardware using Cadence Allegro tools , using pre-existing libraries for printed circuit board (PCB) templates and component symbols
- Create test programs, integrate with test equipment and hardware, debug, validate, document and release per corporate standards and procedures
- Reduce the cost and improve the quality of existing test solutions through test method improvements and test platform transfers
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering, or similar discipline
- Experience developing production test solutions for mixed signal ICs using automated test equipment (ATE).
- Strong understanding of electronic engineering principles in areas including a nalog and digital circuits, power devices , and high-speed signal integrity
- Experience designing PCBs using schematic capture tools such as Cadence Allegro
- Sound test-programming skills and experience programming in C / C++, Vbasic, LabVIEW and script languages
- Knowledge in design for testability and manufacturability, and ability to articulate constructively with the design teams and product engineering teams to insure that design for test is understood by all involved and specified and validated at early stages of development
- Hands on experience making bench electrical measurements using signal generators, oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers, including bench test automation
- Knowledge in digital and analog IC design and verification a plus
- Demonstrated skills in problem solving, communications and teamwork
