Job Description
Description of Position:
- Must be Phlebotomy certified
- Response time critical for this position. Must have reliable transportation and cell phone coverage
- All blood specimens and other forensic evidence must be collected in a medically approved manner and in accordance with jurisdictional policies. We will train you in these policies
- Work closely with local law enforcement agencies in the Banning/Beaumont area
- Phlebotomy (blood withdrawal) collection
- Urine specimen collection
- Taser dart removal
- Suspect sexual assault evidentiary examinations (male/female)
- DUI check points
- Courtroom testimony as needed
- And other tasks involving law enforcement
- Prepare agency vouchers and worksheets
- Organize stock and maintain inventory
- Dress code - Scrubs
- Other duties assigned by supervisor
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills required
- Must be able to collaborate with law enforcement and staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary
- Phlebotomy certified
Other:
- Current Phlebotomy certificate
- Current driver’s license
- Auto insurance
- Day shifts during the week available
- Night and weekend shifts potentially available
- Back up current staff when necessary
