As a Municipal Engineer at Robinson, you will have the opportunity to build and cultivate relationships with our client communities in order to design infrastructure and to identify and plan for future needs to create and sustain livable and thriving communities. Your New Opportunity
- Managing one or more existing municipal clients
- Plan design, development of specifications, project budgets and other related bid documents for civil engineering projects
- Assisting municipal clients with asset management and long-range capital improvement planning for transportation, water and wastewater infrastructure
- Attending municipal board meetings
Your Background and Credentials
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- An active PE (or EIT) license in the state of Illinois (if you do not have active licensure in Illinois, it must obtained it within 12 months of employment)
- Experience working with municipal client communities
- Experience with Microsoft products, specifically Word and Excel, is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship building skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
