Service Technician - 4 10's - Friday - Monday
Rogers Heating and Cooling is looking for dynamic, customer serviced focused individuals to join our growing team of Service Technicians. Service Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing residential and commercial HVAC Systems. Ideal candidates will have 2 years of HVAC experience and understand the importance of client interactions. In addition, the Service Technician will be responsible for:
· Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipment properly the first time
· Be neat and clean at all times
· Attending training classes to maintain expertise in the field
· Adhering to proper paperwork procedures (model and serial numbers, time keeping, tool stock)
· Taking direction regarding scheduling from Dispatcher
· Keeping Dispatcher informed on job status throughout the day
· Following through on problems that may arise on job site
· Collecting payment for services rendered where required
· Staying up to date about current sales and promotions
· Communicating with customers when on the way and during visit
· Communicating with office staff and turn in all completed and accurate paperwork
· Keeping a clean, organized and stocked work truck
· Other tasks as requested by the Manager
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 2 years of HVAC experience
· EPA certification
· Ability to represent Rogers Heating & Cooling in a professional manner with customers, vendors, staff and the general public
· Work well under pressure, ability to adapt to changed in the work environment, managing competing demands and able to deal with frequent changes
· Safety minded
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
· Ability to handle difficult customer issues
· Good communication skills —works well with different personality types

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
