The Mechanical Design Engineer II’s primary role is to assist with development projects by utilizing engineering knowledge, skills, and related experience to provide the company an efficient means of transferring ideas into reality.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to use a keyboard, calculator, and telephone. Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, and occasionally stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift (20 lbs.), and an ability to adjust vision for close vision work. May involve the use of hand and power tools. Requires occasional exposure to running machines and their subsystems including engines, drive trains, burners, electric circuits, and hydraulics. May involve occasional exposure to hot or cool, wet and sometimes dusty and loud conditions. May require the use of a dust mask, hearing, foot, and eye protection and other personal protective equipment.
