Overview:
Danella, a national utility contractor, is adding labor forces to its operations in Syracuse, NY
Perform duties as directed by foreman while operating and or locating for directional bore crew to install underground utility lines. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must meet minimum requirements for DOT certification.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-trip equipment prior to operation of equipment. Check and maintain fluids in equipment as directed. Grease vehicle as directed.

Load material on equipment and secure as directed.

Safely operate equipment..

Participate in pre-job JHA (Job Hazard Analysis)daily.

Report any unsafe conditions to your foreman.

Operate tools as directed by foreman.

Place underground utilities as directed. This would include but not limited to carrying pipe, bags of bentonite and other heavy items. Jack hammering, shoveling, tamping and installing pipe, duct or cable

At all times work in a safe manner
Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids: Backhoes, excavators, directional bore machines, Jack Hammers, Chop Saws, Tampers, Rollers, Vibratory Plates, Water Pump, Air Ventilator, Gas Monitors, basic hand tools.
Qualifications:
Experienced in the operation of directional bore machine and or the use of the locating equipment.
