Job Description
Compensation package (base salary of $60,000 - $70,000 (BOE), a monthly auto allowance and commissions of up to 2% of sales). Reasonable and attainable annual compensation for this position is $75,000 - $115,000.

Position Overview
Split Rail Fence is currently seeking a dynamic individual with strong selling skills and at least two years of HOA experience to join our team.
The HOA Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and developing HOA relationships to increase the company revenue and enhance overall image and presence in the HOA market. Our ideal candidate will have fencing or construction sales experience, estimating knowledge and/or experience, and have at least (2) years of practical HOA experience.
Responsibilities
- Foster relationships with current HOA customers and new HOA prospects
- Meet with HOA management and/or HOA board members to review job details and specifications
- Obtain all required bid documents; including but not limited to site plans, fence specifications, and field measurements. Complete quote within ERP system
- Provide pricing based on specification and review with Sales Manager
- Present proposal to HOA board or management company. Follow up on bid within a timely manner to address or answer questions or comments
- Attend HOA board meetings as requested, including at off times such as nights and weekends
- If job was lost, discuss deciding factor – were apples to apples compared?
- Once bids are won and contracts received, President will review and sign
- Create master work order file to include plot map, style, spec, and job site maps for Senior Field Manager; submit to ERP helpdesk to enter job into system for scheduling
- Maintain communication with superintendents and purchasing throughout job
- Comply with safety, traffic control, and corporate guidelines on business ethics
- Participate in sales meetings, training, trade shows, or other off-site functions as required
- Other duties as assigned to support sales department
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory.
Work Environment
This position works in an office setting with moderate noise (i.e business office with computers, phone and printers with light traffic. Ability to work in a confined area with ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended period of time. Travel within Colorado is expected, especially up and down the front-range. Meetings and project estimating on undeveloped land should be expected as well.
Physical Demands
The physical demands range from office setting environment, on the road travel, and/or walking and estimating in fields or geographic locations where ground may be unpaved, uneven or undeveloped.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in construction (fencing a plus)
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Must be able to effectively convey ideas, images and goals to a diverse group of personalities
- Must be able to prospect effectively and close sales
- Motivated, enthusiastic, driven
- Good time management skills are required
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, (extensive excel or Blue Beam software a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
