Monarch Manufacturing, Inc.’s Hardware Department’s Quality Control Team Members are the last line of quality control in the cabinet production process. It is because of their attention to detail that we are able to send the best quality product to our customers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES:
Ability to read and comprehend order paperwork, including blueprints and production schedule.
Attention to small details.
Ability to spot defects in finish and wood.
Ability to perform a quality audit on all product.
Ability to use part tracking system to print labels, occasionally printing paperwork if needed.
Wrap parts with foam for the Packaging department (trims, crowns, S4S, REPs, mouldings, etc.)
Assist with UPS and Speedy delivery pickups.
Dedication to keeping a clean and well stocked working environment.
Cross-train in other areas during department downtime.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Assessing the accuracy, neatness, consistency, and thoroughness of the work assigned.

Measuring skills on a tape measure to nearest 1/16th of an inch.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Prior woodworking or cabinetry experience is preferred but not required. Prior finish experience is preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ascending or descending ladders or stepstools on an occasional basis.
Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces on an occasional basis.
Remain constantly standing in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
Moving about accomplishing tasks or moving from one workstation to another on an occasional basis.
Adjusting or moving objects of varying weights in all directions.
Constant movement of objects up to 50 pounds.
Occasional movement of objects up to 100 pounds.
Constant repeated motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Constantly communicating with others to exchange information.
Constant operation of machinery and/or power tools.
Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment on an occasional basis.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Occasional exposure to high temperatures during summer months.
Occasional exposure to noisy environments.
Occasional exposure to airborne particles, specifically sawdust.
Occasional exposure to hazardous materials, specifically chemical hazards in the form of glues or solvents.
JOB LOCATION:
Sullivan, Illinois.
PAY SCALE:
$16.00 to $20.00 an hour. This is based on experience with the potential to increase at 30/90-day performance reviews.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday through Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM. (40 hours a week).
